The lack of skilled and experienced development resources within the customer’s team, that would be sufficient to ensure developing the application on time. The complex features of the application the client was developing (LIVE voice, music, video streaming, combined with real-time statistics), required strong technical and experienced resources that they didn’t have.
Ultiro provided a three-person development team – working in a remote model: 2 resources from Kampala, Uganda, and 1 resource from Lagos, Nigeria. The customer’s team was located in Stockholm, Sweden.
The programmers join the team within a one-week or two-week stay period at the customer’s location (meeting the team and key persons, establishing the organization of work, backlog of the project, and communication channels). The project was executed in 3 months.
Providing strong technical resources which were able to join the project immediately increased the velocity of the development, completing the application within the established timeframe.
